You, The Living (观于2008年新加坡国际电影节)

Picture this. An overweight middle age man practicing drumming in his living room. Loud. Then, someone slammed the door of the sleeping room, to try shut out the sound.
Next, another middle age man went into his kitchen. Found a stick and a chair. Climbed up the chair and used it to knock on the ceiling, to try to stop the drumming man. Drum did not stop. Instead, the ceiling light fell off due to the knocking.

From a distance, another overweight middle age man watching these two neighnours from an opposite apartment block, from his balcony. Silently. Then, a woman's sound rose.

Women:"xx, what are u doing?"

Man: "i'm here"

W: What r u doing? M: I'm here.

W: Ya, but what r u doing? M: I'm here.

W: Are you thinking? M: Ya.

W: What are you thinking? M: Now that you ask, I forget.

W: Are you thinking of me? M: I don't think so.

W: You never think of me. M: ...

W: Are you coming to bed? Tomorrow is another day. M: what?

W: I said, are you coming to bed? M: Yes.

W: What? M: I said, yes. Tomorrow is another day.

W: What? M: I said, yes. Tomorrow is another day.

Silent.

M: Last order of the day. Tomorrow is another day.
